Together for the Children is an non profitable organization based in Rwanda since 2022. Our areas of concern centered around the well being of Children and Youths who are straggling with life in various sectors including,

What We Do
01.
Support Education for the Marginalized
- Offer financial Aid for tuition top-up, schooling materials, and equipment like books, uniforms, and many other related items for effective education.
- Encouraging families to participate in school governance and activities to foster accountability and support.
02.
Teenage Mother Empowerment
- Provide vocational skills training in trades such as tailoring, Arts and Crafts, Leather Craft, Agribusiness, Food processing, and Hairdressing.
- Life skills and financial literacy.
- Access to capital and financial support through start-up kits, as well as connecting them to local businesses for employment opportunities.
- Holistic Support through counseling and family reintegration to rebuild healthy relationships.

Advocacy for Child Protection Policies
- Public awareness and Mobilization: Organize community events, school visits, and seminars.
- Train children and teens to speak out and advocate for their own rights within their communities.
- Training Stakeholders: Educate teachers, health workers, and law enforcement on child protection protocols and trauma-informed care.
- Empowering parents and caregivers.

Talent Identification and Development
- Organise Community Talent Shows & Festivals events where children showcase skills in music, dance, poetry, drama, and art.
- Youth Clubs & Peer Networks, where young people can explore interests and discover hidden talents through group activities.
- Inclusive Programs for Vulnerable Youth and Marginalized Backgrounds.
- Scholarships for Specialized Training
Support talented youth with access to vocational centers.

Support Mental and Physical Well-being of Children
- Counseling and Guidance through one-on-one and group therapy sessions for children going through trauma, abuse, grief, or anxiety.
- Create child-friendly environments where children can freely express themselves through drawing, music, drama, and play
- Parenting Workshops
Educate caregivers on child development, mental wellness, and how to support children’s physical and emotional needs.

- Environmental Education in Schools programs.
- Community involvement through raising awareness.
- Tree planting campaigns: involving children and youths in activities of planting trees in schools and the community.
Impact Stories
MUCYESHIMANA Clarisse, 19 years, Gicumbi District has been living in a harsh condition life. She involved her self in illigal business of smugling drugs across Rwanda - Uganda boarder in order to provide to her little girl since she was a single mother. But her life has changed after being empowered by Together for The Children in vocation skills where she trained for 6 months Hairdressing. Now she is able to earn clean money where is now an expert in making hair braids in their village - Gatuna-Gicumbi-Rwanda, and no more imprisonment. and other risks.
Thanks to our partners and the local authorities that give hand in identifying these elements that need emergency help. There are more of the volnarable children that are living in the consquenses of harsh life.
